When faced with emotional ambiguity, most of us remain babies on Plexiglas — we search for feedback to resolve uncertainty, and often forget that the Plexiglas is there, unflinching — a solid, albeit invisible, support. We just have to take the leap… or crawl, as it were.

Fashion photographer and filmmaker Jacob Sutton swaps the studio for the slopes of Tignes in the Rhône-Alpes region of south-eastern France, with a luminous after hours short starring Artec pro snowboarder William Hughes. The electrifying film sees Hughes light up the snow-covered French hills in a bespoke L.E.D.-enveloped suit courtesy of designer and electronics whizz John Spatcher.

I have always been fascinated by dreams. It is primarily a result of my vivid and memorable dreams that happens almost every single night. By theory, it is another state our mind creates, without social lockdowns and mental obstacles.

Dreamcatcher was inspired to house some of the metaconstructs in my dreams. One of the goals was also to explore the possibility in controlling what happens in my dreams - either by external (environment, lights, temperature, etc.) or internal (heavy thoughts prior to sleep, self hinting, etc.) controls prior or during my sleep.

That was why I was so amazed to find Yumemiru, an app developed by Hakuhodo Media partners Inc. aims to help users control their dreams. The rules are similar to what I have been practicing and audio is a significant part of it. Looking forward to explore the app further more!

"Futurists get to a certain age and, as one does, they suddenly recognize their own mortality… And they often decide that what’s going on is that everything is just totally screwed and shabby now, whereas when they were younger everything was better. It’s an ancient, somewhat universal human attitude, and often they give it full voice."

Jun Hae Sung

"The Internet isn’t really a technology. It’s a belief system, a philosophy about the effectiveness of decentralized, bottom-up innovation. And it’s a philosophy that has begun to change how we think about creativity itself."

“The media is like a massive mirror that reflects our own believes. What we are afraid is not the machine, but the reflection of it.”

Moment of the Day

I:”I’m feeling grumpy”.

My man:”I’m sorry”.

I:”Why apologize? It is not because of you”.

My man:”It is my responsibility to make you happy, no matter what”.
